May 2025 Monthly Meeting

PCC Events provide a valuable opportunity for business mailers to gain a better understanding of Postal Service policies, programs, and procedures that have been specifically designed to improve their mailing and shipping needs.

During this GPPCC May 2025 Monthly Forum, we will have a special course presentation from Floyd Creecy on "Developing Leadership Skills from Within."

Course Description: This course will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to transition from a manager to a true leader. This session explores the crucial differences between managing and leading, delves into various leadership styles, and provides actionable strategies for developing key leadership competencies. You will learn how to innovate, develop your people, challenge the status quo, and cultivate a high-performing work environment.

 

Floyd Creecy is the Vice-President of Operations at 120 Design Studios, based in Orlando, Florida. In this role, he oversees all operational aspects of the company, ensuring seamless execution of IT and branding projects while driving strategic growth in the commercial contracting sector. He is also the Executive Director of the Mail Systems Management Association (MSMA), a member of the Greater Baltimore Postal Customer Council (GBPCC), and serves on the PCCAC Strategic Innovation Sub-Committee.

Renowned for his compassionate leadership, Floyd empowers and motivates his teams and audiences alike. His extensive experience in project management and branding, coupled with his expertise as a speaker, makes him a staple at industry events like PCC, Postal Forum, MAILCOM, and MSMA conferences, where he delivers impactful keynote speeches.

Floyd's professional mantra—“Attitude, Industry education, and information aid us in our ability to exceed our limitations”—reflects his firm belief in the power of positive thinking, continual learning, and access to information as keys to success.

Floyd holds a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Mail and Distribution Systems Manager (CMDSM).

The Greater Portland PCC meets on the second Thursday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
