January 2025 Monthly Meeting

PCC Events provide a valuable opportunity for business mailers to gain a better understanding of Postal Service policies, programs, and procedures that have been specifically designed to improve their mailing and shipping needs.

During this GPPCC January 2025 Monthly Forum, the enrichment topics featured are:

Postal Enrichment: John Sandness, Postal Co-Chair, will guide everyone through Publication 286, which provides PCC Policies and Rules. We will also brainstorm ideas to grow and strengthen our PCC.

Industry Enrichment: Wes Friesen, Industry Co-Chair, will present his article "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work."

The Greater Portland PCC meets on the second Thursday of every month from 9:00a.m. to 10:00a.m.
***On January 9th, 2025 (the 2nd Thursday of the Month), the Postal Service will be closed to observe a day of mourning and remembrance of the passing of former President Jimmy Carter and so January's meeting has been moved to January 16th, 2025.

Registration is not necessary.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Postal Service today announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Oct. 1, 2025 - Dec. 31, 2025). Controllable income, which excludes certain expenses that are not controllable by management, was $350 million for the quarter, compared to $968 million for the same quarter last year.
